Advent - the season of waiting . . . December 1, 2014

Hello and Happy December to our five "kids":
We are sitting here on the eve of the Advent season, missing our chicks, and drifting a little - back to the years of Christmas anticipation that started with little pieces of chocolate behind the Dec 1st flap on a cardboard advent calendar.
Times have changed, milk chocolate is off the list for some of this family, but the anticipation of the holiday season remains.
