Oh, what a night! Well, at least it was for Dennis Livingstone, who made his bi-annual trek to the land of over-indulgers! Two years ago it was tequila around the table, and tonight it was rum at the basement bar.
Hats off to Cindi and Darryl for hosting the siblings plus for a Christmas pot luck. It was a great night of food, family and (poking) fun!
We even had games after dinner - with prizes. Heather and your father tied for the win in the Name that Christmas song game . . . I feel compelled to mention that I have first hand experience with the cheating pasts of these two . . . however, let's give them their due - congrats to them. AND I WON, along with a few others, the second game, which required far more skill - knowing when to pass left, right and across!
Now I am curled up on the couch at Heather and Di's listening to them tidy the kitchen . . . and Cindi just walked in - with our Christmas cards. Another win, I call that!
Have a blessed Sunday. We are going to take it easy, sleep in a little, go have coffee in Cindi's hot tub, and avoid heading home as long as we can!
